Service area
Lawn Care in Frankfort, MI
Frankfort is the northern boundary of our service area — about 25 minutes up M-22 from Bear Lake. Some of the most photographed shoreline in Michigan: the Frankfort Light at the harbor mouth, Point Betsie a few miles north, and the bluff houses overlooking Lake Michigan from the upper streets.
The properties we work in Frankfort follow the same shape as the rest of our coastal route: lakefront cottages and second homes, owners who are usually elsewhere during the week, lawns that need to look right when guests or family arrive Friday afternoon. We extend our Monday Bear Lake route up the coast to handle the Frankfort area, which means the day stays predictable for customers who like knowing exactly when we'll be there.

Why we serve Frankfort
Coastal route, single trip
Frankfort is on our Monday extension from Bear Lake up M-22. We don't make a special trip — we're on the coast already. The route discipline keeps your per-visit price at the published tier.
We understand the shoreline lawn
Frankfort properties facing Lake Michigan share a set of conditions with Arcadia and the Lake Michigan side of Onekama: heavy sand load on lawns, exposed bluff slopes, wind-driven leaf accumulation. We don't treat them like Manistee city lawns.
Cottage Care for the harbor and Crystal Lake set
Most Frankfort customers are second-home or vacation-rental owners. Cottage Care — Friday photo, monthly flat billing, visual property check — is the service we'd want if we owned a Frankfort cottage from a few states away.

Frequently asked
Frankfort is technically in Benzie County, not Manistee. Is that an issue?
No. The county line isn't a service boundary for us — the drive time is. Frankfort sits at about the edge of where the Monday route can run efficiently from Bear Lake. North of there, we'd be losing too much of the day to windshield time.
Do you serve Crystal Lake properties toward Beulah?
Yes, when they're close to the Frankfort run. Properties further east toward Beulah village proper start to push the route length; we'd quote them but might suggest biweekly to keep the per-visit cost reasonable.
What about Point Betsie and the properties just north?
We serve as far north as Point Betsie. Beyond that — toward Empire — is outside our planned route for Year 1.
Will snow plowing reach Frankfort?
Snow plowing launches November 2026. Frankfort is on the planned coastal route — Monday plow day, same extension logic as the mowing route.
